Some of our products are overweight or oversized and some may have hazardous properties. Additional shipping charges will apply in these cases, and shipping method may change. We will e-mail you in case this applies to your order, or you can request a shipping quote beforehand by e-mailing our shipping department directly.
* Shipping begins at the point when cartercountry.com processes your order and not at the time that it is placed online.
* cartercountry.com typically ships out orders we receive within 24 hours, although there may be some variances due to product availability.
* UPS does not pick up or deliver packages on weekends or holidays. For example - if an order is placed on Friday evening - it will be processed at the beginning of the following business week.
* In the rare event that you order multiple items and we are out-of-stock on one of your items, we will send out all of the in-stock items & backorder the remaining item(s). We will notify you via e-mail and/or packing slip if this applies to your order.
* Most deliveries go out via Standard UPS Ground, while some larger items require motor freight. We can provide UPS Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air options for those that need items in a hurry, although there is an additional fee for custom delivery options. To get a quote for any of these options, e-mail our shipping department.
* We can only deliver to actual street addresses and we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
* Current delivery options are available only in the continental USA & Canada.

Minimum truck freight charge is $90. Carter's Nursery must be notified if an order is being shipped to a residential neighborhood. Deliveries to residential neighborhoods and products needing to be redelivered will each incur an additional charge of $25.00. All commercial deliveries must have a loading dock or an additional fee will be applied to the order for a lift gate truck. Someone capable of unloading a commercial freight shipment must be present to unload delivery. Any additional fees due to shipment refusal will be the customer's responsibility. Be aware of these requirements when placing an order.
